Brief History of the Firm: The Dalgliesh Lindsay Group established itself in Gaborone Botswana as an Architectural Consultancy in 1976 and obtained registration with the Governments Central Tender Board on 22nd April 1980 (Reference No. TBG 12/1/02. The Firm changed from being a Partnership into an incorporated entity on 09th July 2001. A confederation of autonomous practices with offices in Gaborone, Nairobi, Lusaka, London and South West Harbor, Maine, USA, was formed in 1969 by the joining of 2 well-established practices from Scotland and Kenya, which evolved to its present form by 1976.

The Group was established to make the expertise of many Practices available to each member of the confederation. Thus provision of expert skill is readily available when required, along with any additional professional staff as needed on a short-term basis for special projects.

Members of the group are experienced in working under varied conditions in different parts of Africa, Europe and the USA.

Dalgliesh Lindsay Group has worked for American, Arab, British, French, German, and many clients through out Africa. Dalgliesh Africa Group is registered with the World Bank, The European Union, USAID, and the British ODA.

The Group was established to make the expertise of many Practices available to each member of the confederation. Thus provision of expert skill is readily available when required, along with any additional professional staff as needed on a short-term basis for special projects.
